O'Leary Winter Carnival
The O'Leary Winter Carnival goes on in mid February and the list of activities includes a fancy dress skate, hockey games, snowmobile racing, poster contests, scavenger hunt, adult dance and minor hockey. For further information, contact the O'Leary Recreation Director at 902-859-2888.
Canada Day in O'Leary
Come join the community of O'Leary at their Canada Day Celebrations! This fun filled event takes place in Centennial Park between 11 am and 2 pm, and will feature the flag raising, national anthem, guest speakers and award presentations (Volunteer/Youth of the Year), ceremonial cutting of the cake, and entertainment in the gazebo. There will be a bbq, juice, and cake for everyone, as well as children's games and face painting!
PEI Potato Blossom Festival
This event is held annually during the third to last week of July and features a mammoth parade, farmer's banquet, pageant, giant bingo, night-life, kids activities, car rally and antique tractors, and many more attractions. Oh and a festival wouldn't be complete without the fireworks!!!
